So ... firstly ... I know you were all worried about me overnight ... but the good news is ... I won't lose my leg! 😜 A 25 minute in and out at the doctors ... quite impressive but ... I also didn't have to pay anything as I had the European health card ... sweet! 👍

xAt 9:30 we had a scheduled wine lecture with Colm McCan ... but this time he brought back up 😊 ... John Wilson from the Irish Times ... for those of you not familiar with John ... he loves his Spanish wines and has a very easy style of presentation and turn of phrase that means you could listen to him for hours ... especially when you are tasting six wines of a Wednesday morning! 🤫☺️

The afternoon demo was a bit of a battle royale ... In the centre of the ring for most of the match was Pam (Cake & sparkles queen), with a guest appearance by Jeni (macaron queen) and then Rory stepping up for savoury and beverages to finish .... todays dishes ...

An interesting tasting after that 😱😄

After demo I headed to the beach at Garryvoe with one of the guys for a swim, it was so good to plunge into the water, especially after a sticky day! Could be a thing going forward! 🧐

Later on in the evening we had a study session at Pennywort ... 10 or so of my fellow students gathered to review techniques, salads, herbs and have a glass of wine in preparation for our exams on Friday afternoon!
